Extremely regret & sad to inform you that,

Today we accepted through our Galle branch , more than 650 dead bodies to do the last funeral activities. Before this we need to wrap all bodies from wax papers and the plan is to entomb all bodies as a group. Yesterday we were able to supply food items, clothings, medicines, to southern areas. In addition, we are going to provide mobile toilets facilities & sanitary items to the victims live in Colombo to Kalutara Coastal areas through our Colombo branch.

At the moment our Monaragala branch is having a meeting with government agents in Eastern areas to provide the facilities and It has been schedule to visit North areas tomorrow with the help of LTTE from lorries with full of foods, clothings and medicines. It is organizing from our Vavuniya branch in North part of the country. However , there is a scarcity of petrol and wax papers in the areas of affected but we were able to transport wax papers to Galle yesterday night from Colombo & Embilipitiya Town. Our Chairman, Dr. Kiriwandeniya is visiting the southern areas today, to provide relief for the victims (specially drinking water).
